Gator Baseball Loses; Softball Wins; Track Champs
The University of Florida men's track team is celebrating a national title today after it wins the NCAA Indoor Track Championship held over the weekend in Arkansas. The Gator women also did well, finishing fourth. In the course of action, Florida won national titles in women's shot put (Miriam Kevkhishvilli), women's mile (Charlotte Browning), men's 60 meter dash (Jeff Demps), and men's triple jump (Christian Taylor).   more...

Gators Make The NCAA Tournament!
The University of Florida men's basketball team returns to the NCAA Tournament this year and will play BYU in a first round matchup Thursday in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The Gators are a 10 seed while BYU is a seven seed in the West Regional. Some experts believed the Gators would not even make the NCAA Tournament and instead get in as a rather high 10 seed after finishing 9-7 in the SEC regular season and 1-1 in the SEC Tournament.   more...

Gators Advance In SEC Tourney; Roundup
The University of Florida men's basketball team might have punched its ticket to the NCAA Tournament after beating Auburn 78-69 Thursday in the SEC Tournament in Nashville. Florida (21-11) will play Mississippi State tonight and Rock 104 will have live coverage starting at 6:55pm. Florida trailed in the opening minutes but after that point came out strong and dominated the game in the paint against a smaller Auburn team. The Gator big men repeatedly got easy looks or dunks inside as Florida built a 40-31 halftime lead.   more...
