Young Gators Could See Playing Time Early
We will finally get to see the 2010 Gator football team for the first time in a few short days but until then, we’re all speculating as to how good this team can be and what players will step up as playmakers and key contributors.
We all know guys like Ahmad Black, Will Hill, A.J. Jones, Jaye Howard, and Lawrence Marsh on defense and Jeff Demps, Chris Rainey, Mike Pouncey, and Carl Johnson on offense are proven commodities.

SEC Media Days Means College Football Close
As I write this I am leaving for the annual trek to Birmingham, Alabama for the three day extravaganza known as SEC Media Days.

The University of Florida football team opens its season Saturday with a home game against Miami of Ohio. Rock 104 and WRUF will have live coverage of the game starting with the Call A Mattress Super Store First And Ten Pregame Show all the way through to our Extra Point Post Game Show driven by Palm Chevrolet.
Here are our keys to a Gator win this week…
Already One Upset In College Football
The 2010 college football season is only a day old and already a nationally ranked team has gone down to defeat.
Joe Phillips kicked a 21 yard field goal in overtime to lift homestanding Utah to a 27-24 win over 15th ranked Pittsburgh Thursday night. Phillips bailed out the Utes, who blew an 11 point lead, with his field goal after Pittsburgh quarterback Tino Sunseri threw an interception on the first play of overtime. Utah won its 18th straight.
Gator Soccer And Volleyball Home This Weekend
Both the nationally ranked Gator soccer and volleyball teams will be in action at home this weekend.
The Gator soccer team looks to remain unbeaten as it hosts Jacksonville University on Friday with live coverage of the match starting at 6:50pm on WRUF. The Gators have started the season 4-0; they do not have a normal Sunday match this week as well.
